Not Me Monday . . . .

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama.

Usually, you can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week, but this week she is going through yet another medical crisis with her baby boy Stellan, so she has much more important things to attend to. Please join me in saying a prayer today for both MckMama and Stellan.

So, I'm back from a week at the Jersey shore with Hunter, the kids, and my family. Fun, sun, and absolute exhaustion. Will post pictures soon, but for now, a little Not Me Monday . . .

I did NOT put #3 down to sleep on the last night of vacation, walk in to check on her later, find her sleeping soundly with a full load of poop, and leave to meet some friends who were waiting for us at a bar. (I know, I know, but she wasn't poopy all night. I changed her when I got home 2 hours later. I was afraid to wake her up after she had JUST fallen asleep. My mom walked in while we were out and left the room as well!)

At the above mentioned outing with friends, I did NOT drink 4 beers and wind up a little more than tipsy. Even though we were leaving the shore the next day and I hadn't started packing yet. I SO can't hang anymore. Also, I did NOT blast the Beastie Boys from my ipod on the way home from the bar (Hunter drove, he can hold his liquor much better than I can!)

While bike riding at the shore, #3 kept taking off her helmet and throwing it in the street. I did NOT briefly consider not putting it back on her, as I grew tired of darting into the street to retrieve it. (Instead, I rode to bike shop to exchange it for one that fit better.)

I did NOT see the movie Bruno last week and almost FALL OUT OF MY CHAIR LAUGHING. I certainly do NOT think Sascha Baron Cohen is an absolute genius. The movie is just wrong on so many levels, but I loved it. I know the critics are saying otherwise, but I found it funnier than Borat (and believe me, I thought Borat was funny.)

When encountering Daredevil in the bathroom with a box of tampons in hand, looking perplexed, saying, "Mom, I'm just trying to figure out what these are for.", I did NOT tell him not to worry about it, they are for girls only, and I'll explain it to him when he is a little older.

I did NOT sit down to watch the movie Superbad last night and fall asleep at the opening scene.

Have a great week, and please keep MckMama and Stellan in your prayers.

I'll add one - I did not tell Dash to "ask his father" when he asked me in the bathroom what his balls were for!
